running footwear review
“When the shoe fits, the foot is forgotten.”
There is nothing like the best or the perfect shoe. What you are looking for is a shoe that works for you. And that only you can tell.
I or someone like me plays the role of a ‘jyotshi’ or match-maker. I look at the horoscope of your feet and running, and then I match it to the shoes that are available in the market. I suggest shortlist of shoes based on your feet, your movement patterns, your running background and what you want to run.
You then need to go on a date with as many of the shortlisted shoes as possible to have a feel of them. As on a date, when the shoe is right, it just feels right, you just know it. There is no right answer to the why, why me?
Don’t make your choice based solely on price and looks. Go back to the feel again.

Orthotics / insoles
Often orthotics / insoles are pitched as saviours for feet and running. Yes, they have a role, but not at all as much as they have been suggested to be by the folks selling them.
Our bodies are phenomenally good. If you do basic movements and exercises the right way, they’ll more than address the leg length differences that you’ll most likely be sold those orthotics for. Understand your bodies.
